If you are keen on ancient greek culture you can visit Delphi and admire the exhibits of the museum, one of them is famous Iniochos (Charioteer of Delphi). Feel the mystic energy of the site and later enjoy the spectacular view of the seaside resort Itea.
If you are interested in history, you will enjoy visiting Osios Loukas monastery which boasts byzantine icons and admirable architecture.
If you like winter sports and clubbing, then visiting Arachova, a mountainous winter resort, is a must. Enjoy skiing at mount Parnassos or clubbing or both. Arachova is a ten minute drive from Distomo while a skiing center on mount Parnassos is 35 minute drive.
For people who want to escape from a hectic city lifestyle, Distomo has a lot to offer. Going hiking in the mountains is an excellent choice to relax and escape from daily routine. But if you want to visit Distomo in summer you could also visit the nearest seaside resorts which are 10 minute drive. And in the evening take a rest and enjoy your meal outside.
